The pickleball craze hit the elementary school level! Pickleball with TGA kicked off this week at all of our elementary schools. These kiddos will be looking forward to dry courts at Roadside this spring!
It was a full music room at McAuliffe for after school guitar lessons. These lessons are open to 4th graders and taught by our amazing elementary school music teachers. We thank them for providing this music experience for our students!
We had so much fun exploring our Lego WeDo 2.0 kits after school! Student built and programmed their robots to move. They problem solved and explored various sequences to make them work.

So fun to see things of the past get used in a new way! Ms. Anna's 2-3 year old class used a record player to create art this week. They were working on manipulating the materials (drawing on a spinning surface helped practice coordination and fine motor control). They were also experimenting with cause and effect--children could change the speed and direction of the spinning and see how it changed the drawing they created. The children took turns and collaborated on their art-- teaching patience and sharing.
