Vision 2025 - Survey - We want your feedback!
9/28/2016 11:00 AM

Vision 2025, Hastings Public Schools’ plan for continuous improvement, began approximately three years ago.  Since then, we’ve hosted dozens of conversations to seek ideas and input as to how to make ISD 200 the highest quality school system for all of our students.  At its core, Vision 2025 intends to engage in consistent communication with our families, and members of the larger community.   We’d like to begin this year seeking feedback about some District practices and your responses will help inform our next steps in making District 200 even better.

Please click on the link below to participate in an online survey.  Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts.

Signage on Todd Field Fencing
7/21/2016 3:31 PM
From time to time, temporary signage is placed on the fencing at Todd Field.  Regrettably, signage hung in that location has to be removed due to a Minnesota Statue which prohibits temporary signage being placed along a trunk highway.

The removal of this signage, or any signage, which from time to time, is placed on the fencing at Todd Field, does not indicate disagreement with the group or cause for which it was created to promote, however, the district does need to comply with the laws of the State and is required to remove the signage regardless of the message.

We ask for the community’s cooperation as the school district continues to adhere to this practice.  If you are the owner of the signage that has been removed and would like to retrieve it so you could use it in another location, please contact the district office at 651-480-7002.

Hastings Public Schools and Facebook

As a school district we are always looking for ways to communicate effectively in order to develop and deepen our relationships with our students, parents, staff and community. As a district we strive to inform, listen to, and engage the community we serve in order to celebrate, support, and share the mission of our district. Facebook is just one more tool we will utilize to make this happen.  Like us on Facebook.

School District Bullying Report Form
2/1/2015 2:48 PM
On April 9, 2014 Governor Dayton signed the Safe and Supportive Schools Act. This act required Minnesota school districts to implement a Bullying Policy beginning in the 2014-2015 school year. Our district had had a bullying policy in place for a number of years and the new legislation provided an opportunity for review and refinement. Please click above for more information or to download the district's Bullying Report Form.

Text Messaging Service Now Available to Parents
11/21/2013 12:20 PM
Hastings Public Schools is excited to announce the launch of a new service that will enhance communication by allowing the district to deliver important information to parents via SMS text messaging.

This service is not intended to replace existing means of communication, rather it will enhance them. The district will only use the service to provide information that is timely and relevant.

In order to participate in the new service, you must have a cell phone on file with the School District, and then parents must indicate willingness to receive text messages to their phones. The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.

Please click above for more information on how to opt into this new service.
