During the 2015-2016 school year, the District Staff Development Committee articulated its Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles:

Mission: 
ISD 200's District Staff Development Committee works to support and provide differentiated opportunities for continuing professional growth to meet student learning goals.

Vision:
We will make certain that Professional Development is purposeful and valuable to those participating.

Guiding Principles:

• Focus on a shared purpose of creating meaningful learning for all

• Professional growth needs to focus on ultimately benefiting student learning

• Change is okay (and often necessary for continuous improvement)

• A continuous feedback loop will inform next steps for staff professional development
