A&I Goal 2: Increase the number of high school teachers who have been formally trained in Culturally Relevant Teaching strategies from 2 in 2018-2019 to at least 30 in 2022.
- Strategy 1: Increase the number of staff who participate in formal AVID professional development (including Summer Institute, Pathway and district-hosted training) with a percentage of those being trained in Culturally Relevant Teaching strategies.
How did we do?
Over the past year, we've had 6 people trained at AVID Summer Institute and an additional 20 people participate in an in-house AVID training related to Culturally Relevant Teaching strategies.
