Harbor Program

ISD 200 operates a care & treatment educational program, based out of classroom space at Hastings Middle School, for students living Harbor Shelter & Counseling Center in downtown Hastings. The Harbor Educational Program provides secondary certified general and special education teachers to educate adolescents from throughout Minnesota, ages 12 - 18. The clientele changes frequently and the duration of each student's enrollment in the program varies.

While enrolled in this program, the students participate in a full school day program with a mainstream curriculum of English, math, social studies, physical education, and science. Additionally, they participate in a variety of other content areas such as health, art, computer technology, and family and consumer science.
