Enrolling your child in a District 200 school
If you are new to the district, you should register you child at the District 200 school that they will attend.
Students in Kindergarten through Grade Four
If you know you are in a specific elementary attendance area, please go to that elementary building to register your child.
If you do not know which elementary school your child will atend, you do one of the following: (1) Use the elementary attendance boundaries map on this website to locate your attendance area OR (2) If you are unable to find your address on the map, send an email message listing your name and address to cblaha@hastings.k12.mn.us or contact (651) 480-7000.
Students in Grades Five through Eight
All students in grades five through eight attend Hastings Middle School. After completing the enrollment forms, parents should contact the counseling office office at (651) 480-7084 to set up an appointment with a counselor who will assist you in registering your child for classes.
Students in Grades Nine through Twelve
Students in grades nine through twelve attend Hastings High School. After completing the enrollment forms, parents should contact the counseling office office at (651) 480-7488 to set up an appointment with a counselor who will assist you in registering your child for classes.
Hastings Area Learning Center
The Hastings Area Learning Center is an alternative opportunity for students ages 15-20, to be successful in earning their high school diploma. Please contact the ALC at (651) 480-7690 for further information.

The enrollment forms are all available online for you to print out and complete. Please take the completed forms to your school to register.
