Welcome back to school!
At the start of each school year, we all experience many emotions from the excitement of connecting to another school year, seeing friends, other familiar faces and honoring the nervousness many of us feel as we start something new. This year is no different! While there are new procedures and routines we will experience in our response to COVID, many things will feel like every other year. Our kids will continue to grow! We will still be learning new things each day. Our connections with each other will continue to strengthen. We are so glad you are here! This is sure to be a year filled with new adventures!
As we look to start the 2020-21 school year, it is important for our students to feel comfortable coming back to school. Our first week, or “Connections Week”, runs from August 31-September 3 and will consist of a scheduled time for each student to meet their primary teacher and begin to develop the positive relationship we value so much. This 20-minute meeting will be a time for students, a family member, and teacher to learn a little more about each other and see how our classrooms are set up for the year. To help limit the number of people in our buildings, we are asking students to be accompanied by one adult for our visit. Classrooms may feel different as desks are spaced out to allow for the needed social distancing. Students may also have a few other tasks to complete at home prior to beginning our in-person instruction.
Your child’s primary teacher is viewable through Campus Parent Portal.
Cohort 1 students should bring their school supplies to school on Sept. 8.
Cohort 2 students should bring their supplies to school on Sept. 10.
