Schoology is an online learning platform, or Learning Management System (LMS), used at Hastings High School and Hastings Middle School. In Schoology, teachers can post assignments, quizzes, a class calendar with major due dates and deadlines and other classroom resources. Parents and students will be given login credentials to access Schoology.
HOW DOES SCHOOLOGY DIFFER FROM CAMPUS PORTAL?
Campus Portal is a central location for information on your child's attendance, bus information, course schedules, end of term report cards, transcripts and contact information.
Schoology is a more specific look at your child's classes with links to classroom resources, upcoming assignments, announcements, calendars and daily gradebook.
HOW DO I GET A SCHOOLOGY ACCOUNT?
To sign up for a parent account, you'll need a Parent Access Code provided by your child's school. Parent Access Codes are 12 digit codes. Contact HHS or HMS to request your code. Once you have the access code, follow the directions to Sign Up for a Parent Account. You will need a separate access code for each of your children in grades 5-12.
WHAT IF I HAVE MULTIPLE STUDENTS IN ISD200?
You can use the same account for multiple students in our district, however you will need an access code for each of your children. Once you create your account and use one parent access code, you can click on Add Child to enter a separate access code for another student. Codes are only available for students in grades 5-12.
CAN I USE SCHOOLOGY ON A MOBILE DEVICE?
Yes, Schoology can be accssed on both Andriod and Apple mobile devices. Search for the Schoology app in the App Store or GooglePlay.
