Kindergarten Registration for 2012-13 is now open!

Optional kindergarten meeting will be held on Thursday, February 9th from 5:00-7:00pm at Kennedy Elementary School.

Registration materials can be downloaded from the district website or picked up at your child's elementary school.  Please mail or deliver completed registration forms to the elementary school your kindergarten child will attend*.
*Your child's elementary building is determined based on your home address and district #200 elementary attendance boundaries.

*Completed kindergarten enrollment applications require the following:

1.  Hastings Public School Student Registration Form

2.  Kindergarten Program Request Form

3.  Home Language Questionnaire

4.  Pupil Immunization Record (Must be turned in prior to the first day of school)

5.  A copy of your child's birth certificate.  Your child must be five years old on or before September 1 of the year he or she will begin school.

6. Proof of Early Childhood Screening or proof of a scheduled screening appointment.  If screening was done in Hastings, the screening report is already on file.

*If enrolling in the all day every day program, the following items are also required:

7.  $300 deposit (or $100 deposit is required if you are applying for fee assistance.  The district will contact those interested in fee assistance in July to complete the application and provide income verification.)
