2013-2014 Kindergarten Enrollment - NOW OPEN
Kindergarten Registration for the 2013-2014 school year is now open!
Completed registration materials can be mailed to your child's school or dropped off at the school. Each elementary school will also host registration nights on Tuesday Feb. 5 and Thursday Feb. 7 from 5pm to 7pm. Families are welcome to attend either registration night at their child's school to drop off completed registration forms. Staff members will be available on registration nights to answer questions and provide help completing forms.
TO GUARANTEE PLACEMENT INTO THE ALL DAY EVERY DAY PROGRAM - ALL THE REQUIRED ENROLLMENT FORMS AND APPLICABLE DEPOSIT MUST BE TURNED INTO YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL BY MARCH 1, 2013. We are asking families who do not register by the March 1 deadline to have all enrollment forms turned in to the school their child will attend by June 1, 2013. This will assist the district in determining staffing needs for Fall 2013.
*Your child's elementary building is determined based on your home address and district #200 elementary attendance boundaries.
*Completed kindergarten enrollment applications require the
following:
1. Hastings Public Schools Student Registration Form 2.
Kindergarten Program Request Form 3. Home Language Questionnaire 4. Pupil Immunization Record (Must be turned in prior to the first day of school) 5.
A copy of your child's birth certificate. Your child must be five
years old on or before September 1 of the year he or she will begin
school. 6.
Proof of Early Childhood Screening or proof of a scheduled screening
appointment. If screening was done in Hastings, the screening report is
already on file. If your child has not been screened, please call (651) 480-7017 as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. Please note that we will be screening Kindergarten eligible students through June 7, 2013.
*If enrolling in the all day every day program, the following items are also required:
