The Hastings Public Schools Gifted and Talented services focus on uniquely talented children of both genders and all cultural and socioeconomic groups. Our Gifted and Talented Services help students thrive by offering challenging and supportive educational experiences and services.
Program Goals
Develop programs and services (K-12) that are provided by all school sites appropriate for the academic needs of gifted and talented students.
Train staff in social, emotional and instructional strategies.
To create information links for parents on building web sites.
Programs and Services
Differentiated curriculum and instructional strategies in all grade levels for all students including gifted and talented students.
Trained school personnel who develop and use appropriate strategies for instruction with gifted and talented students.
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of programs for the gifted and talented students and make recommendations for program improvement.
