EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING

Who: All children ages 3 years 9 months to 5 need to attend a Hastings School District screening prior to attending Kindergarten. All families will receive a packet with several forms and two developmental questionnaires. Please complete all paper work prior to your screening appointment. Your appointment will take approximately one hour.

Why: This is a mandated program by the State of Minnesota.  Developmental information in the areas of; cognition, social-emotional development, self-care skills, speech/language, hearing, vision, height and weight will be areas addressed.

Where: Hastings School District screenings will take place at the Tilden Community Center, 310 River St..  See attached map.

When: Screening appointments will take place on Friday mornings from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Please see attached calendar.
